It seems very sticky sometimes its got a standard ford item (clutch & gearbox)
Any ideas?

mines a bit like that mate.

could be a sign that the syncro rings are gettin a bit old.

 

Yeah thats why i'm asking cos I don't know what it is and little things like this bother me

not sure what the question is but the 2wd box is actually a mustang box if it is sticky its either borc rings ,synchro hubs or clutch pressure plate not clearing properly ,the clutch its self as far as i can see is a transit petrol

 

wat causes the pressure plate not to clear properly as i suffer from this problem quite a lot myself. i find it extremely hard to get gears sometimes and it ruined my last outing at the pod

 

the diaphram becomes distorted if the clutch has been hot ,symptoms are ...normally ok when engine is cold but at running temp gears become notchy and it will crunch in reverse due to the fact the gearbox hasnt stopped spinning after depressing the clutch

 

what oil are you using????
