anyone ever used one of these jap things to tune a cars fuelling?i just won one on ebay for project jap crap!

 

and the question is....are they any good?easy to use etc..?is always good to put in a question if youre meant to be asking it!

 

I have. just alters the AFM signal to the ecu to adjust the fueling

Well i dont know what your like with electronics but I found it a piece of piss and just went up the road with a wideband.

does what it says on the tin really, you have RPM points and you can adjust the fuel for each one (think its around 12 ish but dont quote me on that)

You can lean the mixture off boost and then wack more in when on boost.

you need to give it rpm, inj duty and AFR signal IIRC, worked well with a Z32AFM on my SR20DET..............what engine is it for?

hayward and scott downpipe,side exit exhaust,k and n induction kit for now.
looking at td05 turbo,boost controller of some sort,FCD and a large front mount intercooler.
