Fantastic cars.

Well made, comfy, handle well and pretty rapid even as standard (with lots more available easily when tuned)

A bit "dull" though

Very rapid cars from standard and a remap gives another 50 odd bhp.

Good cars and still well in the reliability bracket.

Listen out for gearbox noise carefully . Used to work for audi when they came out and did several gearbox changes under warranty.
Normally whine in first gear a bit but shouldnt hear it in any other gears.
Apart from that bloody good cars.

That goes without saying on all quattros imho. the only vw/audi boxes i've seen with trouble is first & second gear on quattros, too much grip than the box can take from a standing start i suspect!
