to do it and avoid cutting the rear shelf you have to raise the speakers, not in itself a problem as you will be building some mounts out of mdf anyway
thats how I did mine on my old saph

better spending the money on a decent componet set up for the front...
dont drive the car from there so why bother with big 3 way speakers???

a 6x9 is comprimise, much better off with indiviual mid and tweet of a componet

get it right, its an xr3i, and yeah, at least you realise a GOOD setup does NOT consist of chavvy 6x9's, so fair play to ya there

agree with stu, why the fuck would you want 6x9s, esp if you got a sub n amp FFS

maybe if you didnt, but together? apart from thats the usual chav-spec setup, i cant think of one valid reason for it

front speakers > Focal 130 ca
Rear speakers> kenwood 6x9
Amp>100w 2 channel by Kenwood.

Default 6x9's in a saph

as far componets go great in the front to enhance the sound stage but you can't beat a good set of 6x9s in the back as they can handle more power an deliver better bass responce, i've had mental systems in the past and still run 2x 6.5" 2x 5.25" and 4x tweeters in the front (custom build door pods) 4x 6x9s in the rear shelf all alpine with xovers etc and 2x 15" jbl subs powered by phoenix gold amps totalling sum 3.5 kilowatt of sound but as pete said when you got a cossie who turns up the tunes? nough said!!!!!!!!!
