Default Track insurance for Ferrari

My boss has booked me on a track day with him in his Ferrari F430

He's asked me to sort the insurance out for us so just wondered who anyone would recommend for a good price & cover.

Have tried Competition Car Insurance and they wanted £1500 with a £15,000 excess!!! For 1 day!! I know it's a £130k car but didn't expect it to be that high!

Any other suggestions?

Ta!

What track are you going to? I wouldn't both really... £15k Excess as well mate. My mate crashed his 360 at Bedford. Was not as bad to repair as you would think...

Just go somewhere like Beford and take it easy.

Enjoy. Great great cars. I have never driven one on a track! you are a lucky man! will be awesome.

It's not costing me a penny but obviously want to get the best deal I can for him. Its at Mallory Park, he's doing the Cannonball 8000 in it & it's part of the build up.

Yeah, is an awesome machine. I've been out in it on the road a few times and it doesn't feel as fast as you'd imagine until you look at the speedo!! Has a decent sound to it too

Been promised it for a weekend in the summer as long as I can get insured. May be a problem only being 27 however it'll probably be cheaper than hiring one for the weekend! Then again he'd be paying for the insurance too!! I love my job

Take it easy mate... LOTS to hit at Mallory

Also take it easy at Gerrards.... its an engine eating corner. VERY long and causes problems with oil surge in some cars.

Have fun though. Nice little circuit

theres a little bit of a straight and chicane half way round gerrards now, or is it just the bikes that use that?
