Default Twin ISCV/ALS valves setups

For running a ALS and ISCV

I know a few of the Carwise cars have had this setup and some T6 owners

Does anyone have any pics of the set up or could explain how it all gets plumbed in?

Thanks

Dead easy really.

If its only an ISCV and ALS valve rather then 2 ALS valves you can get away with using a pissy little remote ISCV housing off a lancia for idle control, and use the modded TB housing for the ALS.

Real men would fuck the ISCV off totally and run twin ALS valves with a custom remote housing, WRC style...

You have idle problems when you dont run an ISCV? Almost nobody seems to, i didnt have even on the coldest of cold starts with the ISCV binned for an ALS valve.

WRC twin ALS valve setup...

Mine has trouble idling, sometimes it stalls and other times it hunts around then settles down.
its a bit of a pain really.

Dave.

why not just jack up the idle speed a little with the air bleed screw or open the throttle plate a little more and then you won't have a problem?

will idle a bit fast when hot, but that will happen anyway when you have the ALS on

nar mate,,, theres no load at idle, so genrally the higher speed the bettr it is for the engine on warmup because of the oil supply

the reason normal cars dont do it is because its noisy

GARETH T,

I spose theres some logic to that. When I here a car with a fast idle I always
think its a broken engine or set up by an amateur
