Turbo adaptor
What do people think of a turbo adaptor to fit say a GT28 to the standard T3 manifold ?

Back to the original question then...
Is that adaptor any good, or for example would it bring the turbo too close to the rad etc... ?

Only you know what kind of gap you've got? I'd be asking the maker of the adapter how thick it is..... not much point asking here.
