I'm getting another tattoo tomorrow, I'm having the words "Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free" on the inside of my left forearm.

But, I've just had a some last minute second thoughts, I'm wondering if I would prefer it written in another language, so it is not too obvious what it says, the original plan was to have it in old English script writing, but now I'm not sure..

Is there anywhere on the net that I can see these words written in a different style? Maybe some sort of Hebrew or something?

Any help appreciated.

 

I wouldnt have it done in another laguage as you will get sick of people asking you what it says after a month. I would stick to your original idea they are usually the best ones.

 

dont get old english,,,,, and dont get that unless your forearms are bigger than popeyes

theres alot of words there for a forearm,,,, it MIGHT fit if it was wrote down your leg

 

What would you suggest then mate? And the lines would be one underneath each other, and fairly small font...

 

i would have something like that across my shoulders on my back tbh. ANd i would get hope and fear enthersised and a theme to go with it not just text

 

I did think about having it across my back, but wanted it somewhere it could be seen, and I already have a tirbal design down my right forearm, and feel it would balance that out quite nicely...

What kind of theme do you mean? You mean some sort of picture aswell or something?

 

not sure on theme as i aint thought about getting that tattood on me lol.

Well what is it your trying to say???????????? Maybe a bloke in chains on the fear side or like a hell type theme ie dark etc, and like a heaven type theme with like angels flying or something on the hope side.

Just a thought but if your on here asking what you should get i 100% wouldnt be getting it done tomorrow

I can also understand your concern about getting it done tomorrow, but don't fret dude, I don't have an appointment or anything, it's only tonight that I've started to think differently about it, so if I'm not 100% decided on what I'm getting, I will postpone my visit.

i was gonna get old english on my forearm but unless its wrote in a colum you can hardly read it,,, looks like a load of euro and pound signs in a row on you arm

i got a italic type font that you can actually read,,,, though people STILL ask what it says

i agree with alps about the theme too

im gonna get my tattoo finished off when i can decide on a theme,,,, its anoying cause i aint found what i want yet to finish is

oh and always get a little smaller around the edges that way you can add to it if you get bored of it too
