I'm going to look at an old Mk1 Granada Hearse next weekend.
As far as i know the engine & box have been removed which means i can have it for free if i want it... or else it's off to the crusher with the old bus.

I play a bit of heavy metal occasionally so i can see the hearse being a suitably cool gig van plus i want to have a go at a resto on something of that era.

Am i mad?

Should I or shouldn't I go down this road at all?

IMHO leave it alone....I know everyones got different taste but in my eyes modified hearses are bad taste.

 

Go for it if it is what YOU want, could be the next GHOSTBUSTERS, mobile!!
Just be aware some might not like to travel in it ?, ghosts and all that.

Tis way too rough to restore.
