Default FRST charge carrier...

Do they come with with a ACT / IAT (Charge Temp) sensor ?

I would of thought they did, but someone told me they dont ?

ive only ever seen aftermarket fellas on them to be honest

EDITED to say the above applies if were talking about ACT guages but there should deffo be a charge temp sensor to the ECU.

Yeah, im talking about standard. I would of thought they come with a sensor for the ECU as standard (same as the s1/s2 does).

The fiesta rs turbo does have an air charge temprature sensor but its on the inlet manifold rather than the charge pipe

Can a ERST charge carrier accept the FRST ACT sensor or are they totally different fitments ?

Im pretty shure they are the same as long as you have the aluminium adapter that come off with the sensor.

Should fit, but the adaptors are NLA from ford now......... (well apparently )

No thats the CTS.

Its on the top half of the manifold, on the right port

You say "big black thing, bottom left" but outline a white sensor top right lol, I presume it is the white sensor.

Ive got an xr2i inlet and it looks as though it has got the same sensor? would this be right ?

An XR2i has an air temperature sensor in the same place, but the sensor is NOT the same as a FRST one. FRST sensors are mounted in a adapter "boss" whereas the normal ones just screw straight into the manifold.

That picture is small hard to make out the plug, but it looks not to be to me!

As MarkN will confirm for all you boys it has also come to our attention the FRST fuel rail loom is different aswell, so buying a N/A one will cause you grief!
