Default Focus water leak

For about the last year i have been having a water leak from where the thermostat housing bolts to the head. I have replaced the seal several times but to no avail. It still leaks!!!
Has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it?

Cheers Griff

Makesure you cover the gasket with gasket sealent and that you torque the bolts to the right setting

You'll need a new plastic housing.

Quite common, not sure how much they are.

Loctite 5910 DOES stop it, done a few myself, it also sticks on arch extensions door mouldings etc etc etc, awsome stuff but expensive/ish.
It also works on deep sea goggles as mate used it, though he should have bought a new pair!!
I have also used it to stick on SUMPS with NO gasket as car was so old could not get any, I had to LEVER the sump off afterwards when I stuck it on my xr4i, then spend an hour straightening the sump!!
I have NEVER had a leak with this stuff ever from anywhere.
Worst bit is getting hold of it, as not many places stock it.
