Default anyone retrimmed there sierra roof lining

as title

my roof lining is knackered due to all the grinding and welding going on

so need to fond the cloth so i can retrim it, i got quoted £280 which i think is a bit steep and would rather do it myself as it carnt be that hard to do after all its only glued on

i need the exact or almost closest colour they are aswell with the foam backing

can anyone help me out please

had the same problem with our 3dr they have the right stuff aswell in the right colour, to fix mine only cost £65 with 2 tins of glue

got mine from a local trimmers cost about £40 all in with the glue, goinig to have a go sticking it on when i get time and a good day outside, mine is a slight grey in colour just like the cossie saphs have if that helps.

ive phoned my local trimmers and they want to do it and wont supply the stuff

cheapest o got was 280 lol

why not just repalce the roof lining. would be alot easyer & cheaper. probably only cost about a tenner from a local scrappy

I can ring mine for you m8 and if you want can get some and send it on to you, when i got mine which was the back end of last year i asked how much they had and he said "loads", also when i got mine i got enough to do the panels that fit on the inside of rear 1/4s.

all of them are crap, plus with most scrap yards you will end up getting it dirty or damaged removing the thing anyhow

be easier just to take mine off as it has to come out when it gets painted anyhow

plus it wont be sagging as they do and be nice and clean


just need to find a good cleaning product to clean the sunroof cover

will sort some pics out m8, the cloth is identical as i took headlining with me and as soon as he saw it he new exactly wot car it was from, its pale grey with a foam backing.

It just happens i had the stuff close by



first pic is the new cloth against the grubby old panel and the grubby old panel, new cloth and inside of new cloth in second pic.Hope this is clear.
