You wont find much good in that size tbh its so small

And i presume you want to keep it looking standard?

Indeed i do....

Don't spose you know how deep the hole is? As some speakers are quite deep on the magnet side

your answer there is not very deep!

i did measure them quite some time back when i was trying to decide whether to go for 5 or 6" components. To be honest though you could probably "persuade" the metal back to go back a bit

Im going to cut a circle on the outer pod of mine and fit some components (whichever size I can fit) piece of MDF behind hopefully for support screw them through the plastic, through the MDF and stick the speaker grill over the speaker so they sit on the outside of the pod.

obv not keeping the std look tho!

i best take a :slaponthewrist: aswell then cos my components will be exposed!

But tbh theres no excuse in a normal 3 door theres loads more space for speakers than the cabriolet models.

I have a rather nice set of look-a-like standard pods here that take 5" speakers

rare as rocking horse poo im told

What about :

http://www.audioscape.co.uk/index.php?id=16

You could fit 6.5" woofers in then.
