rev counter and speedo mind of its own
i have a xr3i with rs turbo engine, engine not running for a minute but when i get it running again the rev counter on tick over goes up to about 3000 rev and start from there. and the speedo is optumistic when you start it it starts on about 20 mph what could be the problem.

The rev counters on ALL mk4's are shit, theyve always got something wrong with them.
The speedo is unusual, thats cable driven though, i'd try another set of clocks from the scrappy personally
