apparently these are good rollers, upto 1600bhp, same as some of the bigger RR's in england G force etc, no sure of the make il find out.
maybe I can play about with the water injection aswell and see what difference that makes

cheers lads, yeh theres a new engine in it now, I scrapped the old one.
Not sure what zorst is on it but its a feckin monster
looks like 3.5" straight through
im not expecting silly figures, just happy if it runs correctly No Det, and 320+ would be nice at flywheel
I am gonna send it to Mark shead in december for a major bit of work

thanks for that, will update the thread and put up the RR printout asap, hopefully they can get me on next week, shes in for a clutch and criveshaft today
4x4s lose shitloads thru the transmission, thats why i really dont like full time 4wd cars and wouldnt ever own one, id feel cheated.
Flywheel figures are calculated GUESSES from what the wheel figures bring.
I bet you barely get 200bhp@Wheels with the spec mentioned.
But i still bet they calculate it as 300+@Fly

dont think it will lose anywhere like 100 bhp at the wheels it seems pretty impossible to me....like i asked before where does it go?
i made 265 @ the wheels last week with low comp 20 psi t34/55.
it only 2wd so adding about 40 bhp for fly.
4x4 would prob add 50.
saying take off 100bhp for 4x4 is just a tuner trying to rip you off cos your cars not makeing the power....

I think its bollocks too, but look at the wheels power of similar spec RWD and 4x4 cars, unless the transmission loss thing is true then cossie engines are mysteriously less powerful once put in a 4x4
i remember seeing a rr shootout with a load of scoobys and the average difference betwwen flywheel power and power at the wheels was 90bhp due to transmission loss etc and that was properly measured( the mag gave 2 figures) so it is right for definate
Different types of 4wd lose different amounts, its ALL a total guess tho, theres no way to confim apart from back to back tests one on an engine dyno to get the flywheel figure, then put an engine in the car and get a wheels figure.
