i have thought of this too Rab, i reckon a good plastic repair shop could make a job of it that would pass. i think the steel reinforcing bit will need cutting for the top slot

 

if some body does a good job of this let me know and i might sell my RS500 front bumper

 

could be on to a winner here , 3door bumpers modded to rs500 spec

 

thought about it alot tbh , you see some of the work bodyshops can do , so whynot got a little slot out of mine ? dont think i could go through with it , but why not

 

the slots are easy as u would reuse the end curved bit moved out to whatever the dimension is. the number plate mount area would need making smaller iirc but the top bit would be tricky . wouldnt want the thing to emd up all filler & fibreglass. somebody else must have done this before. next 3 door bumper prices will be in orbit too

 

Yes surely they could do something that would pass, i just couldn`t justify paying that price for a 500 bumper tbh , your mate still got the old s2 pal, hows your 3 door , love it

 

s2 is in Norris Motorsport at the mo for a full respray & 300 bhp engine build. hope to have it done by the end of the summer

Cool niall , good to hear the old s2 is getting the right treatment , me and that car have sooo m any memories its not true

Ahh featured then , look forward to seeing it mate , only seen it the once on here , way before i got my 3 door and love it ! stuck in my mind for some reason , its a serious benchmark niall , and if i can get mine half as good iL be happy , ive now got the genuine 500 splitter and lower rear spoiler , but it must have been hard work to get to that level as i know im always messing with mine and feel im getting nowhere sometimes
