should putting aircon cause loss of perfomance, coming down the motorway last week with the aircon on, then when I tried to accelerate quick to go pass cars the car delayed. If I turned off the aircon its better.

Any ideas how to rectify this problem???

 

Turn your aircon off!!, seriously they can cause a noticeable drag on some.
