it was a bloody good day alex

i went over to our lockup with martin and porkie to collect the 3dr and they let me drive it back to combe lol

the fookin thing scared me as soon as it came on boost i let off lol, although i did see 1 bar once

it was awsome to see both reyland cars battling it out against each other
they were both constantly lapping and staying the same 2 car lenghts apart over about 6/7 laps, then lee done some sneeky over taking and got in front of martoon for a couple of laps.

second session with em both was good, but martins escort shut off the electrics or something so he managed to reset it and came in

i think chip and stu had the rides of their lives too, both done a session in each as a passenger, and doug stirling was treated to a session int he escort

the other track action was cool and there were plenty of nice cars about, especialy our drift sierra

 

i didnt go in the end
but...a few of my mates did tho, one of them was on track in a 306 rallye, mates just been giving me the low down on it, sounded an amazing day, i fucking going to the next one tho!

you fucking pussy what revs though, on that car revs make more of a difference than boost, under about 6k i dont think its all that regardless of boost (well, im sure itd scare the shit outa most folk still, lol), its fucking mental above that tho!

and TBH, with your record with cars, idve never let you near the thing myself

i thik chip bought ALL of their track passes, to top bollock to him

the 3dr lol, i had porkie and martin following me in the skyline, and i dont think i really drove it on boost as i cant afford to fix it if it blew up lol

not sure on revs, but i was in 3rd and floored it, after half an hour the boost needle shot to 1bar and i shit myself as it started to go fast lol

after the last track session lee complained of NO brakes, and i had a look, sure enough there was no pad left, and the metal was worn to fook and filled up the grooves in the discs, which are also now vey fucked

lee still drove it off to rentons house tho

Personally your plate is seen in public everyday, you don't hide it on the road, and I don't see how hiding it on the net will mean anything different will happen!

AHEM! we split it! im not THAT much of a tight arse although i think chip ended up paying for dougs session with martin. we were fooking lucky with the passes! i had blagged two for SiB and phil on the 12noon session a couple of days before, and on the off chance rang the guy about 8.15am and hed JUST been called by someone saying they were gonna drop out, which meant he had two more free for the 12noon session, a few minutes later someone else called him asking if he had any! spawny!

chip got a load from his vauxhall connections, bloody handy that every single person in the world with a vauxhall knows him

you have to be in the revs on lees car cause of the turbo and cams
I found the same thing as dan when I opened it up at low rpm. did nothing at all so to get it on boost you have to change down.
fantastic car though once you realise that.
I drove it very tentatively as I couldn't afford to buy it if I crashed it but it was a cool experience anyway as that has been my favourite ford for years so it was nice to have a go even without doing so properly.

had a fantastic day at coombe today so a big thanks to lee and martin for the awesome laps as passenger and also to phil2400 for the cracking session I had with him.
I'm loving being a passenger at events at the moment as its so stress free and inexpensive as no repairs to pay for. lol

I went out with dougie from total vauxhall in his cavalier too and that session proved you don't need big power to have big fun.

i didnt drive it on boost at all, as per chip and my previous record of driving cars that aint mine
