Can someone please tell me what the score is with BIDDER 1 or BIDDER 2 and so on coming up on ebay, is it just their mates bumping up the bids? im p*ssed right of with it as you dont no what theyve bought, if there genuine or just a dick head. why are they like this, they only bid once on so many different items unless someones interested then the bump up the bids, fucken robbery if you ask me cheating bastards

its for buyer and seller protection i read before
if you go to www.goofbay.com and go to auction tools you can put the item number in and i think it tells you if any of the people bidding have bid on the sellers auctions before

It does. Its stop sthe VERY common scam of scumbags sending people forged second chance offers and then ripping them off. Its a great new feature IMO. The seller can see who they are.

Basically, scumbags would watch who the top few bidder on an item were and then, using a hacked account that LOOKS like teh sellers, offer the goods to the 4 bidders below the winner at the price of their highest bid using teh excuse that teh genuine winner dropped out at last minute or similar...

Apparently 95% of people fell for it!

No, the seller can see all teh bidders, no problem at all. It was scum PRETENDING to be teh seller of teh item you bid on and lost that were offering fake second chance offers...

Please email me as soon as possible and i will send you details so we can complete the transaction

God be with you

Charles

bid what you're max bid is then dont go back(last minute if you want).

if you get offered second chance just tell the seller what YOU'RE max bid is .

i.e the winner didnt want it at 15,you bid 14 ,you can now have it for 14!

answer,fuck off prick £10 or nowt,you choose

if you think its worth £50 then thats all you are willing to pay regardless of anyone else bidding it up.

ebay banned them from doing, closed the loophole or something like that

My dad fell for it and lost £65. I know he sounds like an idiot but he's actually quite smart and I can see why he fell for it as looking it over it all looked so genuine. Cunts. So this is a brilliant idea and if it had been there a bit longer would of saved me dad £65.
