just bought 1 of these of mike r today

which will be turning up tommorow and im hoping to fit it before pod on sunday,
i can solder ok but is it tricky to do and were do they to wire in? i take it i will have to take the boot off the hairbrush multiplug for the ecu then solder in there
anybody have pics of were/how they wired theres in please
i dont want to cock it up as my loom cost me about £450

I dont know,as i let Sean B do mine while i had a KFC and a fag...
But if you have got it new,you will get ALL fitting instructions,,And there very clear,and aeasy to read/use..

Its easy to do if you can solder.
Just pop out the pins required one at a time using a paper clip end in the
side of the pin from the ecu connector side while firmly pulling the wire
behind. (Not so hard as to break the wire)
Then solder the wire to the back of the pin and pop it back in.

i just sent my sec monitor loom off 2 Ryan 2 b added 2 my new loom after i looked at the instructions, lol it dont look 2 hard but at the end of the day i wouldnt wanna fuck it up,

simon - thats the exact info i was after, least i now know i can pop the actual pins out and solder to the pin itself rather than splicing in to each wire
if mine weren't already in the car mate i would swap ya but i aint taking all mine out again
not unless its to replace it with F88 anyway

the pins were a fooker to get out of the hairbrush plug tho
nobody mentioned to me it doesn't read the rpm correctly tho for coilpack users, bit dissapointed at that realy
any solution anytime soon on that issue?
