Default Zetec 2.0l head onto 1.8 bottom end

my mate wants me to fit a 2.0l head onto his 1.8 as his suffers from sticky valve syndrome....

will it just go straight on with no probs???

what head gasket, 1.8 or 2.0l????

i dont see why its such a funny question....

the valves in both heads are the same size 28mm and 32mm

so no one knows then?

i remeber a post saying you can do it the other way round, so i dont see why not! - IIRC the part numbers on microcat are the same!

well if the part numbers are the same on the head then yeah it will fit i cant imagine there being much diference because they do 130bhp 1.8 zetecs and the only difference is the cam and throttle bodie to the 105 bhp model 1.8 and the 2.0 is a 136 bhp (i think) and that extra 6 bhp must be the bigger pistons with it being 2.0 so i reckon it will work but aye what the fook do i know

mate as far as i know of, the difference in bore sizes was carried over into the heads so wouldnt line up

i know of some zetec turbos fitting a 2.0 head to lower compression slitley

use a 1.8 gasket and the head will fit fine no probs.
