shes away in the garage for a while till she's all "shiney fucking new"
she was like this when i got her.

then went to this for ages

and went into the garage a year ago looking like this.


i really have to get on and do something with her really .she's still a runner but i want her rebuilt before she bricks herself,as she's at 350 and 150k on the original engine she also needs a bit of tidying up as the 3 odd years of abuse has taken its toll.
so she's getting a paint job and new arches as well as some chassis mods to get her a bit tighter again.

been collecting the parts for the last year as having the house and two new pups has taken time and money.

a phone call to wayne at pro alloy resulted in this lot.
rs500 cooler.

alloy rad

turbo cooler and bailey oil feed pipe with filter for the t34

satin oil breather as im not a fan of the alloy shiney stuff any more

not a bad way to spend over a grand

 

more bits to the spare room trace not happy with that really but like i say to her its the spare room!its in the name,thats where the spares live
the engine bay is currently a bit boring as you can see

so got some roose silver boost hoses but still need to buy th ewater and ancillaries when i get the cash

as you may tell she is staying with a complete silver and black theme
new fuel pump holder with rubbers and filter and grpa pump to help out as the standard will struggle over 350bhp

more odds and sod like clutch rachet and sump bung.

gradually the weather strips and door rub strips are arriving


forge front strut brace and rear powerflex bushes to go on.already has front bushes fitted and will be going to danny b when running for his rear brace and frame connectors

while on the chassis i got mike r's shims to go in it.

and a new bit of rubber in the way of some yokohama pradas.


to clean up the bay from this mess

i got a new bulkhead panel from ford

then for the interior which i have got this far with so far

i got another carpet as mines a bit worn now.needs a steam before i put it in.

and for the worn bolsters on the outside edge of the recaros,new bolsters from ford and new ford cloth


then on to the outside bits.

the arches are a bit scabby so new ones bought

and the front bumper is saggy and the skirts have some "off" damage .so thanks go to 3dr stretch for the bumper and skirts


this is the way she lay at the moment but i will get on it very soon.have to remove the stickers next i spose really


updates will follow as and when,probaly in another year unless you lot nag at me to get my arse in gear.

 

Loads of good stuff bought so far m8,but get yer arse in gear lol.

thats also another big decision cant decide if i want to put them back on new paint. will have to do a poll i spose.

strange really as alot of people slate srtipes saying they are 80/90's but everyone says keep em to me

 

been out on the old girl today taking the stripes off for when she gets her new lick of paint

garage is far too small pal. have to push her in and out all the time. be glad when i can build a double on the side.
no aeroquip,just the fitting kit for the gpr a pup.not a huge fan of aeroquip due to the hoses getting shitty but i may get a little bit.
strut brace staying as is.its far too expensive and nice to paint. the only bit of bling i'll allow.

I know the feeling about the garage size.

 

i really dont know mate,theres a few things making me wonder about that.
1,will i still like them when im 40
2,can i warrant putting them over a new 2k paint job
3,i took them off and either due to the shonky paint job before or the fact they were a proper set of stickers,they peeled the laquer off in a few small places .i wouldnt want to change my mind later and ruin the paint again.

have to see what others think,or speak top a painter

 

good luck with it all mate even if it does take a couple of years at least you'll know its all done to exactly how u want it to be if theirs any bits you need i've still got lots of bits off of my old saph that i've been to lazy to take pic's of and sell doors trim panels loads of bits

do you still have the dash?if so is it the real dark one?mines a 91 4x4 with dark cloth so dont know if yours was different being leather.
probaly lots of biti need but its remembering them all.

helps to have a helpful friendly ford parts chap who has been around since the cossies.i have two at my dealer and they know me through work so go the extra to get my bits

Whot power you looking to go to i should have a spare set of "BLACKS" Soon i hoping for a good 370 ish

 

cant remember what i paid for the holder and rubbers,when i get a spare moment i'll get you the fin numbers and prices matey
ass for power im hoping to get 400bhp and a similar torque figure from her.any more and i think she will eat too many boxes plus i think thats a good power output for the 4x4.
how come you will have spare BLACKS?you not going as far as first intended on power?what would you want for them?
