yeah you can get em to spin like that but not without trying ie you have to want to do it, not just poodle down the road stamp on the gas and she rips up thats saved for the 400bhp models

You will get a difference in traction if the cars are not at the same ride height and also if they have different front toe settings.

The lower the car, the more negative camber, so less available traction.

Also ERST are viscous type diffs, so a different spec of gear oil will also affect the amount of power transfered.

A lot of things have an effect on traction including ride height, wheel size, geometery settings, tyre quality, spring strength, power delivery etc etc. With some work on these sort of things you can get a high powered RST to grip right from 2nd gear.

Mine used to never break traction in 2nd, but now with well over 300bhp (DD tested )2nd gear can break away if I just nail the throttle, and on a cold damp night even 3rd will sometimes spin a little. There isn't a lot more I can do that is an easy fix, other than fit a road legal slick and then I will just be helping to kill my transmission quicker.

Bringing the power in progressively will help a lot.

tires are the key.

I have a lot of power, far more than most - and the only traction problems are on a launch or in the wet.

However, i have 215 F1's, and decent geometry.
