Default Problems with my turbo gauge

Hi to everybody.
I have just fitted to my 3dr cosworth a Racetech turbo gauge. I bought it from new almost 3 years ago, so it ´s never been used.
I fit it, and when I went to test it, my surprise was to find that the needle shakes so much.
When the car is idling shakes a little bit , but when is full throttle is impossible to read it.
Is there any way to repair it??
Thanks

You have nothing to lose by taking it apart as it is duff anyway and out of warranty!!.
Or you could buy another one, then give them yours back a few weeks later saying it did not work, only kidding!!

- air should enter the gauge throught very small hole (ex. 1mm)

- you can try to put some grease into gauge mechanism

Do you have another boost gauge? Maybe gauge is ok but ypu have problems with your engine

The engine has been rebuild just 2 months ago, seems to run fine.
Before, the pipe that blows into the gauge was fitted with a T piece from the MAP sensor pipe. Now the pipe connects directly from the inlet manifold outlets.
But what you suggest when you say that maybe the problem is with the engine???

it is worth checking the pressures with another gauge, just to make sure there is no problem with the engine....

there are many things that can cause problems with boost control. so check if its the gauge or not before you look to hard....
