Default Fitting a T34

I'm buying a really good condition t34 with a 48' rear housing! i've heard of people having problems fitting them, like having to gind the block away. Just wondering whether this is required if not do they just bolt straight on?

you may have to slightly grind the compressor housing, as it can fould the exhaust housing when you rotate it so the out let points downwards to fit the boost pipe to intercooler.

I think he must just love the low down constant wheel spin and running out of puff at 5000 rpm

They are laggy on a 1600, there's no question. Well, high 'boost threshold' anyway.

But we all know what lag means

The boost comes in harder when it spools up

My T34 fitted fine, and I wouldn't say mine was laggy considering its size. You just have to improve the engine to make the most of the bigger turbo.
