Had some paintwork done on the front S1 as the years were taking their toll and noticed my grille badge is a bit tatty and want a new one. It measures 115mm x 46mm. Gonna go into Ford tomorrow to see if i can get one that size but if i can't, anyone know where i could get one from ? cheeRS

I got a new ford badge from ford for the front of my S2, i think it came off a focus or a fiesta and it fits into the same oval shape on my bonnet.

 

The Ford items now are a different colour: darker blue than older items.
Personally I'd get an old one with good silver ford writing, clean the back off then re-paint with original blue.

 

The ford writing and the blue are ok, it's the chrome border bit that is a bit pitted. You can get chrome paint but i don't know if it's any good. I suppose i could give it a try and see what it looks like.

 

i bought 2 last week cant get the original ones but they are the same size but slightly darker blue and i think slightly thicker aswell but they look ok hth

 

I got two off ebay mind you they were refurbed look A1 though cost £22.00 think the guys bussiness is called 'jims little shop'
