Basically need to repair my passenger one as my fat arse brother fell straight through it. Im guessing its that big rubber square piece split. Question is, is it still available from ford? If so whats the finis thanks in advance.

Im not sure if they are available anymore, but they pop up on ebay, Ł30 seems the norm.

I know someone who used an industrial gravel bag to repair his, worked VERY well actually..........

Ive seen all sorts of things done to recaros in an attempt to fix it, but what they did actually worked

Theirs a website somewhere that sells the bolsters for Ł20 a pop and the rubber square thing you need, if not jus buy an old cheep recaro and nick that part off it

 

Just to add they are a bar steward to fit
had to be quite inventive with the tools i had in order to stretch and fit it to me old seats

when mine split i took both halves to the local cobbler and he made me anew one for a fiver.

 

can use tha part from a non reacro seat but using recaro hooks 1 side and thr springs from the non recaro seat on the other

i just stripped a pair of recaros for parts that had 2x3 wood in the bases was nice and firm to sit on tho :blub:
