just to let you know ill be selling my 7.5 Gripper plated lsd diff in a few weeks it was fully overhauled last yr with brand new plates brand new bearing/seals ............... ill be going 9" plated route

bloody good diff for sale here guys, 20 times better than your ATB types and a cheap price too

i wont be taking it out untill i have the 9' fitted it worth easy 700 i dont know what they cost new but they have got to be about 1400 quid all built up

Markk, why/what is better with this diff contra the ATB?

 

this diff WILL put the power down at all times ATB's dont , i have used both, if you manage to lower the grip on one wheel it will spin with an ATB and you will go nowhere, a plated wont. and if youve got an old std vicous unit then it will be 1,000,000 times better !!

What's final drive ratio?

 

it has 3.64 final drive also have 3.90 Crown wheel & pinion if need 7.5"


it has been preloaded to 90ft lbs the plates will make a bit of noise once the oil get hots at slower corner speeds (the plates try to break free)

it's not set to maxium tho but it not progressive either

i never had an R+D plated diff , I got Bernie to check my diff after haveing it back from cov automotive without a diff seal


he had a diff seal instock so i whe to see him and he gave it the once over
