i have a dell axim 51v thingy

now on my laptop its easy it tells me its found a wireless signal lets me connect if not wep enabled, if its wep enabled i enter in the wep key and off i go easy as that


the fookin dell pdas a nightmare i still havent sorted it, is there a program i can use on it instead of the dell one ?

i did try ministumbler spose its ok for searching cant even get that to work properly doesnt seem to pick any up


but anyway im just after an easy way to find available netwrks and log onto them, ideallly starting with my own one lol

Theyre a total pain mate, wififofum is another package to try. Stick with a laptop

 

i did download that m8 its on the pda but for some reason now when i try to enable wifi it just doesnt

do you use your axim for surfing? if so what progs you use?

 

nope only used ipaqs and mda's, with any real wifi issuses


was looking at getting a dell awhile back done loads of research on that site very helpfull.

 

bloomin nightmare, the machine searches and finds avaialble networks but ive been and tried everything to connect to my wep encrypted one, tried entering all sorts in just not workin, everyone says just disable your wep fook that i dont want some coonts poaching my line

its bollocks totall bollocks had enough now, even was looking on the help bits etc on that axim site nothing just seems to be doing right, my laptops a piece piss i click connect and enter in wep

why is it so fookin hard on a dell x51v?

on that it shws a few available so i highlight mine nothinng happens so i click along the tabs at bottom nothing to enter in a wep etc
