Default i was shocked

Car came into work 2 day the guy who own it was complaining about noise from the brakes, he has just had new pads and discs put on by another garage, and when i took the wheel i got a shock some dopey sod had put the brake pads on rong way round so the metal bit was touching the disc i coudnt beleive it.

How are some people still actually living? I mean, with that level of intelligence, how have they made it though life far enough to have got to the stage where they can be allowed to fit stuff to cars??!?!?!?!!?

never heard that happening before but

i know a fellow learner of mechanics with me one day put copper slip on the face of the pad but that was spotted before he put them in the calipers but it was still a from the bloke who caught him doing it

it was 2 Jays Autos in Dagenham. I couldnt beleive but dont no what they were thinking come on the person wants to be mechanic work with cars and they let a car go out on the road like that would think they would of noticed when drove the car out of the garage

Seen that loads, even get it now and then on our trucks at work , there is no place for incompotance (sp) in the workshop especially HGV side.
