Hi everyone...after MANY questions regarding FRS's i have finally put money down on what i found to be the best FRS i went to see!

after looking at a few, finding defects, and most having too many owners, made a 200mile round trip today and found one with only 19300 on the clock, literally only 3-4 stone chips on the front of the car, paintwork is amazing...few surface scratches but nothing out of the ordinary!

took it out for a test drive, fook me its quick for standard! was spinning up in second gear!

hopefully going back up later this week to pick it up...cant wait! got LOADS of one off mods planned for it

so just wanted to say thanks for all the help i recieved from everyone!

Amit, sold the turbo mate...about 2 weeks ago...got the asking price as well LOADS of work was done to that...but u have to move on one time or another...just wait to get stuck into this...i dont think there is enough space for my turbo

ill see when i get the car home to see what i want to do with it but for now i know i will keep it as it is (minus the sound install and the coilovers...maybe de-cat, bluefin etc etc PMSL ) until im done at uni and in a proper job

Bassboy dont forget once you've got the FRS you can add it to the Registrars list & the build number list on the RSOC in the FRS section Shameless plug for Duncan the RSOC FRS Registrar there

i did the same, i sold my S2 and lost alot of money on that and was hard to see it go, but now ive got the FRS i aint looking back.

mine is still std for the mo, but plans will unveile shortly as i am moving house at present.

Is your one the 19K FRS in Birmingham? I wanted a low mileage one too (mines only done 19K also) and I seem to recall one there, think it was @ Peak performance?

Small world! I was going to look at it a month ago today, but they weren't open when I rang (lazy gits didn't open till 10AM!) so I went to look at the other one I saw advertised with 19k, and the rest is history!

Based on his license plate R5FOK and the alloy wheels i'm fairly certain that car is the ex Amber Performance Demo car

coilovers should be here in the next 2-3 weeks and the install work will begin in about a weeks time or so...

everytime i drive the car i grin like mad! such a nice car to drive fast or slow! gets plenty of looks...happy is the biggest understatement of the year!

i always get asked if i miss my escort...i do to a certain degree...it used to get more looks lol...but now i have the focus...the escort is long gone

friday i will be checking out the engine bay to see if there is enough space somewhere to mount the turbo LOL
