my windows player cuts out halfway through video's

as above, if i watch something on you tube etc it will play half of it or less then just stop as if the video's finished? even if its fully buffered as well

pissing me right off now

any ideas

I think I had this once. Have you updated lately? I think mine did it when I installed an update and had to backtrack to a slightly older version.
