Default Oil Temperature & Pressure Gauges

Hi all

I wouldnt mind fitting a pair of these gauges to my car in time for the Nurburgring trip so I can see how my oil cooler & new oil pump are performing.

Problem is I dont want to spend megabucks on them.

Ideally the RaceTech Dual Gauge setup would be nice to have, but at £80-£90 its a little steep especially with the rest of the money I've spent on getting the car ready.

People might slate me for this but I can get the AutoGauge Oil Temp & Pressure gauges together with sendors etc for £50 delivered. I've heard these are a bit crap but surely they are good enough for what I want - has anyone compared readings from these gauges with other gauges - was there much difference in the readings really??

Cant comment on those gauges but have you thought about Nomad ones?

I paid £80 for the two gauges, 2 senders and 2 adaptors to fit them. I dont know how accurate they are but even if they are to the nearest few psi etc I took the view it would still be better than nothing. It also retains the normal warning light on the dash.

(PS - would have loved the likes of the Defi ones but like you, had already spend more than I could afford on other stuff for the car )

There is a bit in the mag that says items in Red are + VAT but the RaceTech gauges are not, so include VAT.

Maybe phone them and ask.
