Cant find Engine Number?

Cant find Engine Number?
ive got a Specialised Engines 1.9 american tallblock, but i cant find the damn engine number on it, anyone know where i should be looking to find it coz i need it asap.

looking at it as if from the front of the car its on a small block that pokes out from the engine block
stamped on the face that faces frontwards the numbers aint stamped very deep tho try some light sand paper to show it up
