Default Returned after 6 years

Had this garage for the last 15yrs and about 6yrs ago i took all my tools / Welder ect home with the intention of giving it up and selling off what i could.

NEVER DONE IT and while in conversation with the owner a couple of weeks ago he tells me that he is selling up so would like it cleared if i get a chance.

Went down last weekend and bust the locks open and all i can say is £uck me, what a mess

Roofs been leaking, Pig shed next door been flooding and theres about a ton of £uckin spiders webs over everything.

Heres what greeted me

A couple of S2 Turbo blocks / head / 4x4 cossie Clutch and an RS1600i Piper cam

A box with more turbo bits

Std 4x4 cossie Exhaust / Turbo Cly head / metering unit ECT ECT and under that pile there was also a complete turbo / Manifold

A trolly load of Gearboxes and X-Flow Engines 1.6 & 1.3

1600i Cyl head with the solid lifters

Facelift Cossie alloy and an 8x17 Hock R

Complete XR3i engine, this was out a low mileage car but that was 15 yrs ago LOL

And loads of MK1 XR2 Cyl heads and stuff

Most of this has gone to scrap as a guy from work came round and paid the pricely sum of a pint for it all plus a hell of alot more.

Hopefully he will get some spares out of it as he's just bought himself a S1 Turbo so alot of the head stuff should be ok.

So it wasn't full of cars worth millions then
I love routing through old stuff. Even more if it's your old stuff that you hadn't looked through for ages. Like when you get summoned to yuor parents house to sort out your old bedroom and spend 3 hours looking through something cool you've gfound instead of sorting it

More importantly tho

Dont have any pics of his S1 but i know its a D plate and i also know that he has just cleaned one of the heads up in the washer at work and it came up like new

The dust seems to have protected it against any dampness

Nice to know that some of it at least will live on
