Just been looking through my Photo bucket account & seen this lot.
Gutted to say the least
Lets hope i end this year on a high note & get another
1st is my Pacifica Blue Escort, Originally a Ford Press car hence the FMC plate





Next is M700 COS originally B1G RS. In Ash Black with only 37,000 miles on her when i sold it. THIS WAS A REAL MINTER!!!









Next my Focus RS an 04 plate car with under 10k on the clock. Build number was 4418

Ive owned alot of Fords over the years, unfortunatly only have photos of them & not on disc. The cars above are what ive owned recently. Sold the K36 FMC Cosworth in March 05 after 4 years of ownership. The rest ive owned since then

No mate ive got a J reg Peugoet 106 XN 1.0 Litre petrol...
Bought the Evo 8 when i sold the Pacifica Blue Escort as i fancied a change from Fords.
It was only 18 months old on an 03 plate.
I hated it Ian, after 1 week of ownership i contacted the garage whom i bought it off to see if i could trade it back against my Escort
BUT Escort had sold straight away . I then p/x`d the Evo for the Focus RS from a garage in Bristol. Then at Nat Day 05 seen Ash Black Escort for sale, so sold the Focus & bought it

 

 

Did the press car had a number in it by any chance?

 

No it never. Apparently it was supplied by Alperton Ford & car went out for a press shoot from new. Think it was for What car magazine.
When the car came back to them after the feature a local injection specialist by me bought it & owned it for 9 years
I bought it off him. Car had a fantastic history portfolio, as everything was accounted for.
Owner was that meticulous he had numbered each indevidual reciept to corrispond with service records. Even kept a detailed record of every MOT test..
Car had been well looked after

some great cars there macker the thread was going well until i got to the evo just kidding mate. I remember seeing your black escos when you turned up at Demon Tweeks last year with your son,you were talking to oil cosworth. That was some car macker , its one of many escos thats inspired me in my current project I own the red one that was there.

What a dream collection you've had - if i were to even have one of those cosworth's i'd be proud.

 

Pacifica Escort mate. Was my 1st Escort Cosworth & what made it abit more special was that id seen this car parked up every week as i passed his garage. I always dreamed of owning one, as his was the only one in the area at the time.
Eventually i did own one, but is was the one i always seen funny really
All were nice cars, but K36 FMC was a bit special

Yes mate, Anth lives in Bagillt.
Last time i seen him it had a full rebuild inc a 200 block ect. He was hoping to get the power up to around 400bhp
