I've got the first 4 series on DVD, and 5 and 6 are superb.

Naturally, as soon as they re-invented it with 7 and 8, it went toss.

 

Think i'll watch series 2 on, on Demand tonight

Kryten was the funniest for me

Loved the complete series and what is good is that the program is 10 years + old and it still gets me in tears

Can't say that about quite a lot of the rubbish today

crackin programme, got em all on dvd now. one of my faves is the one where lister and rimmer crash land on a planet in a snow storm and lister makes a fake guitar out of rimmers campferwood chest to burn.
And as far as i know they still want to do the film but every time someone gets close to funding it they pull out at the last minute.
