Still need re-painting satin black thou as the factory paint job is poo but the fit is excellent

Hi all.

Been far too busy working lately! Also been spending a lot of time trying to find someone in Mallorca who knows anything about Escort Cossies!!

Found a good garage in Palma now, mods all sorts of cars. They are doing a good job of looking after the Escort.

Some dork has bashed the front of the Escort in a car park, broken one of the hockey sticks and the front splitter, plus a bit of paint damage. Needless to say there wasn't a note left on the windscreen!!

By the way, it's 20 degrees and sunny here, what's the weather like at home???

 

21 degrees here - sun splitting the skies and everyone is a cossie expert.....

What did you do with the saff - is it stored in the UK or sold etc?

 

Unfortunately had to sell it mate, couldn't bring it to Mallorca as the policemen have guns here!!

It's still about in Cheshire somewhere. It still turns up at Turbosystems occassionally, I don't think the guy drives it much.

 

Balls i thought you still owned but had stored it for some reason as the new owner obviously keeps himself to himself so not heard anything of what was a top spec car. At least kev never got his hands on it

Does the new owner run it on a tolulene mix or is it back to a calmer setup?

 

He doesn't run it on Toluene mix, but as I understand it he doesn't drive it like I used to either!!

I know he has had the breather system done to race spec now, something I never got round to. That was next on the list after smoking out Donnington with oil fumes!! It was fine on the road but not on the track.

 

He is still running it on the 4.4 diff ratio though.
