didn't know where to put this...so i just thought here and the mod's will move it if required !

i have an '84 orion mk1, and want to do a rear disc conversion, i know the rear's hardly do anything but it's for cosmetics mostly.

anywho ! where can i buy a kit ? or what do i need to buy (other than the bracket) to make a kit up myself ?

it has the separate drum/hub so that's not a problem, just finding a kit is !!

i beleave you can do it easy without paying for a full kit mate

rear xr4x4 calipers and disc's using an rs2000 mark 5 hand brake cable

apart from that go with cossie rear disc brake set


i have a mark 1 orion ghia had it for 15 years now never driven it put some pics up of your motor

its never been welded but does need 1 sill and the 2 wings doing

full history and stamp book

mint condition inside still smells like new only 3 owners before me

first owner was an old guy
second was the guy's grandson he was about 37
third was a 30 year female

think its done about 63,000 mile

i scrapped one mint roin ghia shell 18 months ago couldnt sell it so crushed it it had new front end panels rear arch's etc in primmer ready for painting no one wanted it and it was in my way so of it went

 

sierra rear caliper, discs and pads (not Esc/Sierra Cos 4x4 as they are vented), brackets, and as stated RS2000 Mk5 cable

What size wheels do you have ?

 

at the moment it has standard pepperpots (14's) but in a few weeks it'll have a set of 17's on it..
