Mk1s are bastards to fit 5 speed boxes in unles its got one already? You have to cut the inner arch out etc... Try the Fiesta Center website.
Fooking well worth doing though!

i think im goin to use a gt28 turbo, ive got some rs200 cosworth forged pistons,ARP rod bolts.my compression ratio is 8.3:1 so it should give really good power with little lag.im so excited its gunna my baby il never let her out of my site.
i read what you typed, i was just commenting that a cvh turbo is an extremely tight fit, thats with a standard t3 with some of the actuator bracket ground off and using a modified mk2 xr2 radiator.
are you changing the engine mount on the inner wing or doing it another way ?
i think si meant does it have a 5 speed fitting kit welded into the inner wing already ?

the fiesta centre used to do the 5 speed fitting kit, not sure if they still do. You have to cut a big chunk out the inner wing and reinforce it, it also includes a modified tie bar and a strengthening bar.
as for a rad, with it being a turbo motor you at least want a brand new rad or better still have an alloy one made.
i ran a standard xr2 rad in my mk2 and it was ok most of the time but in heavy traffic it would get hot.
Have a look on www.xrtwo.com for parts and advice
