Default URGENT!! rst running problems!

Hey everyone. Looking for a really quick answer to this prob as I have to go out and I'm stuffed!

Last week I fitted a kent cam, unlimited boost ecu and a -31 actuator to my zvh. When I was bedding the cam in it was fine. Slight misfire but nothing major and was very intermittent. Not a problem. Haven't managed to have a set-up yet but was literally driving granny style for 2 days so that turbo wouldn't boost up etc etc.

Day by day it has been getting gradually worse and I barely made it over 50 last night on m4.

The timing seems to be more and more out every time I drive. Its through every gear and its jolting big time now. Thought gear box was gonna make a surprise appearance in rear mirror!! Anywayz, any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks guys!!!

have you put the dizzy back on in the right place? Actually the new ECU you have put on there will prob need as different timing setting anyways, some have different ignition curves...

Have you turned the boost up? Did you let the cam run in at 2k rpm for 10 mins?

Also check your tappets and the cam profiles if its misfiring

Hi. thanks for the quick response! The dizzy only goes on one way as the pins on the cam are slightly offset. It was running fine when i started it to bed the came in. Sounded better than before. Itsonly just recently as I have started to drive it, it is going mad. Yes I bed the cam in fella.

Tappets are new. Anymore ideas

no the dizzy goes on then you can rotate it anti clockwise/clockwise to adjust the ignition timing...

I'd still check the tappets, I've had a brand new one die on me after 100 miles before
