cis cover under 25's for any car. think the law may now be changing to stop this. all cars on the road will need insurance even if the driver is covered for any car

He'll be lucky to get an insurance policy at 19 that covers him to drive other cars!

Even if he does the Cossie insurance will be Third Party only which TBH on a car like that isn't worth a wank!

If he can't afford to insure it properly he shouldn't have brought it.

People pissing about like this really gets my goat.

Yup, probably got it on a loan too! So when he bend's it it's gonna hurt even more!

Plus the claim would go to his Dad, bet he'll be well happy with that!

Soooo many things wrong with doing this....

some insurance companys once you insure a car fully comp , they will normally let you drive anymotor car not owned by the you/policy holder with the owners permission to drive anyother car 3rd party only

it has to say this on the policy tho or something of that description

Insurance companies aren't stupid! So if he stacks the cossie and he's 3pft because its his "dad's" they will know fine well what's going on!

If you cant afford the insurance dont buy the car!

Most people realise early on that being on their parents insurance is just a stop gap. It's best to have your own Fully Comp then you can build up your no claims.

First car I had an XR2 was 3rd party only on me Da's insurance when i was 17 ( a long time ago! ) Second car an XR2i was done on my own insurance so I could build up my no claims.

It's a sad fact of life but you've got to be over 30 to get resonable quotes on RS's like Cosworths

Well being an old twat has some advantages I suppose
