whats involved in converting rear drum brakes to discs? is it just a case of bolting on hubs,calipers and changing h/brake cable? as im thinking of doing this to the wifes mk1, it needs new drums,bearings and shoes so i thought it might be worthwile upgrading it all at the same time?

 

Yeah that’s pretty much it I did mine in a bout 40 mins the same 4 bolts that hold the drum on hold the new stub on, I paid £100 for mine and well worth it.
