What plate would this car be on....
If it was registered on 01 Mar 2001? Y or 51?

51 will be september.
the 0 are for march, the 5 are for septembers.

no they did not do a 50 plate, the 0 is for march then the year..

Yeah thats what i meant. I couldnt remeber when the new plates started from. But im SURE it was 51.

It should have been 01, but they didn't get the new system running in time.

my nissan is a x reg and registered feb 2001 so it can be a x reg also

no cos if it was registered on the first of march it will be a Y plate, if it was registered on the 28 of feb then it'll be a X.

Start of March to end of August 2000 = WSeptember 2000 to end Feb 2001 = X March 2001 to End of August 2001 = YSept 2001 to End of Feb 2002 = 51
