I've found a "rebuild" kit on eBay which consists of the 2 diff bearings, 2 mainshaft beaings, 2 layshaft bearings and a gasket kit. Is there anywhere that would strip a box, replace all these bearings if I supplied them and give it back??

Spoke to him on the phone straight after he posted. Ł450 + VAT (exchange price) gets you a full re-build, enlarged mainshaft bearing, all new bearings, tightened LSD and stuff. Go to www.gearboxman.co.uk for some details, but a phone call/reply from Bernie would tell you more

 

Bernie's box's are the don. After using one of his in my RST I wouldn't use anybody elses when/if I kill this one
