Default Whats up with my car?

For the last 6 or so months ive had this little problem where all the indicators will just come on and permanently stay on, sometimes it would turn off on its own or i had to disconnect the battery to stop it, sometimes it might have occurred twice a week or sometimes not for months.

Now i took it to ford for them to have a look and they said it was probably the relay, so we fitted a new one and it seemed ok(must have been a coincidence) because 2 weeks later(few days now) the indicators came on agian, so i took out the relay myself and the indicators didn't go off? what does that tell me?
Today whilst washing the car i noticed there seemed to be abit of water in the passenger side side repeater, maybe water is getting in and shorting it?

what do you think is causing this?

I dont have an aftermarket alarm fitted, just the standard fit ford gear

agree with this man

the indicator stalks are pure wank, got to scrappy and get another until it works

water in the side repeater isnt going to do anything of the sort but corrode the wires the in future so just clean it out and the terminals

ill be 90 -100 % its the stalk
