As above really, whats the best oil 2 use in a 2wd box

ATF (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID) is what should be used.

I will third that.
Not good for the box but the right stuff.
Use of other lubes can destroy the pads on the end of the selector forks which are made of COMPRESSED CARD!!

ps I used GREASED LIGHTENING in mine when I changed it, quiet a bit better for it
