HI ALL SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE
i have a 1991 4x4 sapphire about 30 mins ago i was driving down the road as normal when i lost all power everything all i have is hazard lights the biggest problem is the window is open and i cannot get the car into my garage,Is there a main fuse located anywhere or has anyone come across this before ,i have put jump leads on and still no power any help much appreciated

 

have you checked all the fuses & relays? just a thaught

 

checked most all seem ok just strange how everything has gone off

 

ANYTHING ?

 

checked all battery connections?

 

CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS SEEM FINE SURELY CANT BE MUCH DOES MAIN LIVE GO STRAIGHT TO THE STARTER MOTOR ? IF IT HELPS THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON SHORTLY WHEN I START THE CAR BUT THEN GOES OFF

 

check all earths engine box bat to body give em a good yank bto make sure failing that take the two pin conector of the brake light switch and put a live to one of them one will make the b/lights come on one wil make the ignition lights come on do ur window up push into garage, cant help ya more than that m8 cheers

 

do thay have the same problem as most escorts mark 3 +4

and if your stuck and locked your key's in a tigra take the reverse light switch plug out bypass it and you unlock the door's

 

lol, and on a nova with new style dash..take hazard switch out, turn it upside down and ignitions on..

 

im sure someone told me once if you bang the inner arch on a mondeo
it unlock's the door's
