Default 1.8 CVH conversion, anyone done it?

Hi all, i have my series one block (1.6 cvh) in bits and have got hold of some brand new sierra 1.8 CVH pistons and pins. is it worth boring the block to take them or are the gains just not worth the hassle? Has anyone done this or got an opinion it.

cheers guys.

I would have thaught your compression would be too high for a turbo with 1.8 sierra pistons?

You can't use them mate, You'd need 1800 block crank etc, and the compression would be way to high.
