Just thought it might make interesting reading to find out what prices people pay for general car work carried out at Companies, might be usefull if someone is thinking about an engine rebuild or sills replacing etc. to give them an idea what there getting into
Also prices charged in labour for certain items fitted, should be a laugh!

my local engineering company charges

head skimming £20
Crank Grind £90
rebore £60

I know that the quality of workmanship and so on will vary the prices but like I said its just to give a general idea.

 

i got ripped off then
100 or 120 for rebore. 35 for head skim and 120 for crank grind
